Concept

I sat on 0-800-YO-FAM for 2.5yrs not knowing what to do with it. The only thing I knew was that it was more than an idea, it was a lifestyle, more than a brand name, a personification; how I answer the phone and greet people. It weren’t until I went through some s**t and began a process of detaching myself from everything I had built over the past decade, in order to regain clarity, that I realised the potential so I started building.

Blueprint

I remember waking up at silly o’clock, writing some goals -simplifying them over the next few days and creating monthly subscription packages for services I could provide. Through the mammoth task of consolidating ten years worth of work, scattered around the blogosphere, into one place, I found my path and also the possibilities. I also realised that what I was manifesting was far more lucrative than a potential ‘side hustle’, and if I conistently nuture this idea it could blossom into something epic.

Action

0800YOFAM isn’t empty rhetoric but a place where the mundane is given a second thought and celebrated. It’s a place where ‘What’s Good?’ is explored subjectively and I pay homage to the subtleties. It’s a place where you can share how you feel and engage in discussions. Don’t be shy to share your thoughts via the comments section.

Constantly Evolving

Having gotten comfortable with sharing my creative endeavours with the world, 0800YOFAM has truly become my portfolio of activity which houses a Vlog, Podcast, Music Production sessions which are live streamed, self-published books, poetry and more.

As much as I love consuming the art of others, I’m pretty much consumed and inspired by my journey and what I’m creating so thank you for taking an interest and following my every step.
