Using the Maschine MK3 to compose some background music to Coins x Concrete from my poetry anthology, Allegorically Speaking. I started off by creating something to Pretzels however the music weren’t cute enough so i switched lanes.
Coins x Concrete is a poem about getting lost in chasing societal illusions of success in the form of digging for treasure that’s buried within the concrete landscape of our city centres. It’s a cautionary observation about getting lost in a cold material world.
This piece will feature on Allegorically Speaking, an audio version of a book I have published, which will be released on August 25th 2020. I have challenged myself to create the album in 16days whilst documenting all production sessions on Twitch.
